2008-03-11-11:33 - Science, Vaccines, and John McCain
I think of the anti-vaxors as liberal analogy to the conservative creationists. They both, reject the scientific consensus, prefer conspiracy theories to scientific ones, and rely on anecdote instead of hard evidence. But the conservative/liberal makeup is not absolute.
Just recently John McCain expressed support of the anti-vaxor's vaccine/autism conspiracy. Fortunately, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have better science advisers, or more importantly listen to them on the subject of vaccines and autism.
Lets hope the next President of the United States doesn't help bring back measles or whooping cough.
>>let me tell you this about that!
